1 Establish the Mountain Shape
Give shape to the white mountains by adding shadows and rock formations to show where they angle and overlap. Use dark combinations of gray and blue, softening an occasional edge with a barely damp 1-inch (25mm) stiff bristle brush.
Use a no. 8 round brush and varied mixes of yellow, gold and green to suggest small trees at the base of the slopes.
